Inyoni Creek’s ladies do lunch!

Functions committee Fransie du Preez, Margaret Tredre, Rene Bergman, Shirley Moore, Irene Dickson and Sue Brazier hosted a wonderful luncheon.

Inyoni Creek’s annual ladies lunch – held on June 7th – provided the perfect opportunity to welcome new residents and a new staff member to the Rand Aid-run retirement village.

Around 60 residents filled the waterside clubhouse. A delicious three-course meal was served, and new residents Rita Waisberg, Stella Granville, Mary Roberts and Joan Shaw got a glimpse of the warm Inyoni Creek hospitality. Carol Garnett, who joined the village as receptionist recently, also had a chance to mingle with the residents.

Resident Carmel Borland played beautiful background music on the piano and barmen Steve Foster and Arthur Hadden kindly served the ladies’ drinks in true style.
