Book a stall at Thembalami’s fete or donate goods for its white elephant table
Thembalami Care Centre and the Max Ordman Deaf Association’s annual fete will be held on May 30, 2020, and the public’s involvement is needed to make it a success.
The care centre is run by non-profit organisation Rand Aid Association and the fete is one of its main fundraisers. Many of the centre’s residents receive only a state grant.
Donations for its white elephant stall and other stalls will be greatly appreciated. Items sought include good-quality secondhand clothes and shoes, glassware, crockery, cutlery, plastic containers with lids, kettles, pots, pans, baking tins and other bric-a-brac.
People wanting stalls on the day are invited to contact Elize Raath at 010 534 8773 or email her at email@example.com. Please note that stalls selling handmade goods will be given preference and that no food, clothing, book or white elephant stalls will be allowed.
Thembalami is situated at 222 Victoria Road, Lombardy East, Johannesburg.
